Susie joined the MIS team in May of this year and has jumped in to help our other rock star CAMs in taking care of our wonderful clients.

Tell us about your family…kids, pets?
People who know me say… “Susie’s world revolves around the Son.” My son, Sidney is all that I talk about, that and racing. “Sid the Kid” is now 14 years old. We have four dogs, the most recent we inherited in July, is a 12-year-old Dachshund, add her to my 5-year-old Dachshund and Sid’s two Yorkies. (Too many dogs.)
My parents are Georgia natives. I’ve moved around most of my life – until I had my son.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I lived in Cuba for six years (Guantanamo Bay Naval Base)
What’s the craziest/funniest/most outrageous thing you’ve ever witnessed/done?
Racing Sports cars for 10+ years, even after some big mistakes. I’ve seen a friend airlifted from the racetrack. I’ve been in the Daytona infield hospital having x-rays myself. But we all have continued on, recovered and raced again. Recently I got back in the driver seat and went racing two years ago. Now COVID and a neck injury have me on R&R. My goal is to one day race an endurance race as a mother/son team. Then retire my helmet and be the crew chief for my son.
Where are some of the places you’ve traveled to? And what was your favorite?
I’ve always traveled a lot. My favorite is Australia. Planning to go back as soon as they will let us back in the country in 2022.

Dolly Parton — she is caring, giving, and inspirational. She would keep everyone laughing.
What did you do before joining MIS?
I worked for Hewlett-Packard, for many, many, years.
Tell us a little bit about what you do each day in your job.
I work with customers to understand their business needs and help support them in any way we can. Learning about different businesses and being an active part of their success is rewarding. I work internally with every department and that collaboration keeps raising the bar for future growth, both internally and externally. Using my experience, I hope to contribute to our clients’ and MIS’s growth. I learn something new each day.
What do you like best about working at MIS?
I like feeling appreciated, needed and acknowledged. I get all of that from our clients and my colleagues. I asked for a high-caliber company with a family-based heart. MIS is exactly what I wished for.
What do you like to do for fun outside of work?
Since my son is my world, I like to provide him experiences and opportunities. He races, ziplines, scuba dives and travels. And now as a teen, it is all about skateboarding, cars and girls.
