Clients who have been with MIS Solutions for more than a minute have had the pleasure of meeting or speaking with Jaxon Bennett, the head guy of our incredibly awesome service team. He began his career at MIS seven and a half years ago as a help desk engineer working his way up to the position he holds today. Jaxon spent the first 25 years of his life in Minnesota before moving South. He and his fiancé Kate live in Buford with their beloved cat Otter.
What’s Your Favorite Food? Chipotle
Name something on your bucket list. Hike Mt. Kilimanjaro
What’s the craziest/funniest/most outrageous thing you’ve ever witnessed/done? I prefer to live life in the middle – no highs, no lows – just consistently in the middle. And that is fun for me. Although, most Georgians would find “driving a truck while towing an ice fishing house across a frozen lake” crazy.
What is something most people don’t know about you? Either that I’m the oldest of seven siblings by 6.5 years or that I’ve played piano at 50-plus weddings over the last 20 years.
Favorite book? Lord of the Rings trilogy
Favorite ice cream? I don’t really eat ice cream. If I had to choose, I’d probably choose Vanilla since you can add other things to it to flavor it up.

Tell us a little bit about what you do each day. It’s different each day – when I’m not auditing client’s user accounts, I’m answering questions from almost any team at MIS, identifying nagging issues and making sure there’s a plan to stop them from happening, writing SOPs, coming up with better ways to do things internally.
What’s the most fun thing about your job and why? I like being the “go to guy” for lots of different things
What is the most challenging part of your job? When technology decides to have a mind of its own and doesn’t follow its own rules.
What do you like to do for fun outside of work? Video games, hiking, vacationing to as many awesome places as possible.
