Lliam Holmes

Founder, CEO

Lliam Holmes, founder and CEO of MIS Solutions, has over 25 years experience in the IT industry. He has served in roles such as field tech, systems engineer, project manager, software developer, and business consultant.

Before MIS Solutions, Lliam worked with many companies, including Bethco Inc., Optima Technologies and BravePoint, serving as consultant for Fortune 500 companies. Among his clients were such recognizable names as Nokia Cellular, NAPA Auto Parts, Eli Lilly, HGTV and Crozer-Keystone Hospitals.

In 1995, he started MIS Solutions, a technology service and consulting firm serving Gwinnett and the Atlanta, Georgia area. In his current role, he is responsible for strategic direction, research and development, and operations at MIS Solutions — as well as strategic business consulting for clients. He enjoys serving others and helping business owners tackle challenges with innovative and creative solutions. As a leader, Lliam is also involved in a national operations group designed to serve managed services providers — as well as a best practices network monitoring and remediation group focused on creating network monitoring and issue remediation strategies. He is actively involved in his community and passionate about serving in the children’s ministry at his church.

Jennifer Holmes

Founder, President

Jennifer Holmes graduated from Georgia Tech in 1995. She has been serving her community on a personal and executive level for over 10 years. From 1996 to 2000, she was an accomplished research virologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, where she submitted novel gene sequences to GenBank and published her scientific work in nationally recognized journals, including the Archives of Virology and The American Journal of Epidemiology.

In 2000, Jennifer hung up her lab coat and joined husband Lliam as MIS Solutions president. She leads the company’s grassroot expansion efforts. She possesses an insatiable drive to apply and share effective business strategies with her team and clients to deliver desired business outcomes.  

Jennifer has served her community in numerous leadership roles including acting on the boards of the Atlanta chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Gwinnett Great Days of Service, the Buford/North Gwinnett Rotary Club and the Gwinnett Chamber’s Technology Board. A graduate of the Leadership Gwinnett program, Jennifer also is recognized as a leader and business coach in Technology Marketing Toolkit, a national managed services provider marketing alliance.

Mark Herndon

Service Manager

A Georgia native, Mark joined the MIS team in July 2001 after an eighteen year career as a senior sales representative. With a background in math and customer service, Mark added Cisco, A+ and Networking certifications to an existing BA-Management degree from the University of Georgia.

Drawing on experience having supervised staff, managed budgets, and cultivated new and existing accounts, Mark contributes a business perspective to technology needs in which time and money considerations are recognized. Coming from this varied background, Mark brings the right mix of technical expertise balanced with effective interpersonal skills. Assuming the role of Service Manager in 2009, Mark serves as Senior Engineer on a number of accounts as well as oversees the daily operations of the technical staff.

Mark and wife Kelly grew up in Gwinnett and are active in a number of community and service initiatives in the area. They have two sons and a daughter, with three in college.
